About Wes
Grounded in Expertise, Nurtured in Family
Wes Crompton has over 25 years of experience in the Golf Industry. Most recently serving as the Director of Golf Course Maintenance at Bryan Park and Enrichment Center from 2016-2022, Wes was responsible for overseeing a 550 acre property bordering the 1,540 acre Lake Townsend that features 2 championship golf courses, a 25 acre practice facility, and 5+ acres of Clubhouse/Event Center grounds.
Wes has a strong background in renovation/construction completing many projects during his time as a golf course superintendent including irrigation installations, bunker renovations, tee/green complex construction, greens conversions, and pump system installation, repair, and maintenance. He has over 16 years of experience in developing and implementing management programs for both cool and warm-season turf varieties. Wes is very strong in creating and working within budgets to ensure the financial success of a facility while ensuring the most efficient operation. Working within a private management company, Wes successfully developed and maintained relationships with municipal officials, contractors, course officials, and management companies with the goal of maintaining an outstanding facility with an emphasis on efficiency.
Wes is passionate about the golf industry and has enjoyed working with facilities on making improvements to their operation both agronomically and financially. Wes is responsible for all consultation services as well as overseeing all spray applications. Wes lives in SE Greensboro with his wife and 4 daughters.
Meet Manuel
Revolutionizing Turf Care
Manuel Lara is an extremely talented equipment technician with a strong mechanical background specializing in turf-related equipment. Proficient in reel/bedknife grinding, reel adjustment, welding, fabrication, gas and diesel motor repair, and preventative maintenance.
Manuel has a thorough understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems. Manuel served as Lead Technician at Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center from 2012-2023 where he was responsible for a $1 Million+ equipment fleet. As OnCourse’s lead technician, Manuel oversees all reel grinding services and adjustments as well as completes mobile service calls and repairs to customers in the field. Manuel lives in Mcleansville with his wife and three children.
